First-time waxing nerves are completely normal — and completely unnecessary once you know what to expect. Here's what actually happens, and how to prepare.
Before you come in
Hair should be about a quarter-inch long — long enough for the wax to grip. If you've shaved recently, it might be too short; give it two to three weeks to grow out first.
What to expect in the room
Every wax happens in a private room, one client at a time. Your stylist will walk you through each step before doing it, so nothing is a surprise.
Aftercare
Skin is more sensitive for about 24 hours afterward — we'll send you home with simple aftercare tips to avoid irritation.
